Download a program call CPU-Z, it will tell you the model and businessman of your motherboard. Though all you necessitate to know is what kind of slot you own for your soundcard as it can still be replaced as it doesn't matter what brand you have. You probably hold a PCI slot, but check to make sure.
Of course, you can.
You can get hold of the manufacturer's name and the model # of the motherboard by downloading Belarc Advisor. the join is http://www.belarc.com it's a free program.
Firstly have a look at your motherboard and see how oodles white slots you have, they are call pci slots.

You can buy an internal Pci soundcard from almost any computer store. If you want a basic one you can find them on ebay.

Pci soundcards will fit on any computer only just make sure you read adjectives requirements. eg. version of window, speed, memory etc.

PS pci soundcards come with their own cd's to install them and also installation manual.
