What are 4 system resources that entail to be configued when installing a card?

That is a loaded quiz...

Depending on the card, the system, and the operating system, what kind of card (pcmcia, sd, pci, strike, motherboard, etc), and whether or not you're looking at it from the user's viewpoint or the computer's stance there can be lots answers to that question.

I'll give somebody a lift two guesses at what you mean and if I don't guess your sound out correctly you'll have to re-ask it beside some added details.

For pci cards from the user's viewpoint usually zilch needs to be configured, except perchance the driver needs to be installed, or programs may call for to be configured to use the specific card.

From the operating systems standpoint for most types of cards the driver needs to be configured for use, and everything else should be configured by the driver, four of the system resources effect (not necessarily configured) by installing a card (and it's driver) are power, ram, processor usage, and the number of available card slots.

The answers post by the user, for information solely, RunQA.com does not guarantee the right.
