What is USB Flash drive?

Plesae try to be as example as possible. THanks!

What is USB Flash drive?

Portable storage device. Remember those old floppy disks? You could pick up files and transfer them from one computer to another. Those mature floppies held 1.4 Megabites of data. Flash drives own taken the place of the old disks. Floppies are in a minute obsolete and most brand new computers do not come with floppy drives, but most up to date computers have USB slots. USB flash drives come surrounded by many different storage capacity. Average now is around 1 Gigabite (which is 1000 Megabites). You can buy one for about 20 bucks, 10 if you find other. Flash memory is also solid state which means nearby are no moving parts which makes it enormously reliable memory.
a little stick that looks kinda resembling a disposable cigarette lighter, usually.

costs as little as a few dollars and can be found at most department stores these days.

holds computer files similar to a floppy disk used to.
a portable data storage device that connects to a computer via a USB port.

usb stand for wide-reaching serial bus. usb drive is a small device to put on the usb port to put any files like music, games, movies, and other things resembling that. it like a knotty drive to be a backup unlike cd or dvd.
A USB drive is a thingy you plug into the USB port of your computer. You then put files on it (they typically come within 1, 2, and 4 GB sizes). You can use it to transfer files. (I.E between work and home)

It is really handy, i own one at home.

Mine was cheap, just about 30$.
