unfortunetly not,a p.c peak dosent have the optic lens needed to capture the images which are needed to be classed as a webcam

however the actual technology have been used up to that time,in protection entrance systems,were the payment camera also acted as a display to let you very soon whether to enter or not

something that may be of interest for you is a new product from microsoft call slverlight(http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/def... is basically a foreign way of presenting medium through a transparent display,its the way forward and looks extremely exciting,this technology will probally be in our homes inside the next 4 to 5 years..so survey this space
