OK, so roughly speaking a month ago I got my unusual video card so I can play Crysis when it comes out. My card is an XFX GeForce 8600 GTS XXX OC edition. Other brands of this card come with for a while component block that hooks up to the s-video output to hook it up to an HDTV. Well the XFX one I got solitary comes with an s-video cable.I can use this to hook it up to my HDTV, but I want better resolution. Do I obligation to buy a DVI to HDMI cable, or a component block to go from the s-video output, or ? I a short time ago want to have HDTV from my video card...so im asking what I requirement? Just in casing you need to know, this is my TV

Using my HDTV next to my video card?
DVI to HDMI is probably your best bet. However, you will only find the max resolution that the DVI can output. You would need to check you card for that. I wouldnt recommend an s-video converter because s-video cable dont carry HD signals.
Doesn't even situation...you can't play Crisis at a very dutiful FPS or res on that card...I can't believe you didn't read any of the reviews on that card.you would be better of with a 7900GT...why didn't you basically buy a 8800 GTS 320? Now your stuck with a card that isn't that perfect and don't know it...return it! FAST! and save up for a 7900 GTO or a GTS...Crysis isn't DX10 simply...its just a DX9 port
