WD rugged drive to sata?

Is nearby a way to connect a WD unyielding drive that uses the 39 pin ribbon to a board with SATA connecters?

WD rugged drive to sata?

You are referring to a ribbon connector that have space for 40-pins (IDE) but has one missing. ATA/66. You can find IDE to SATA adapters that fit the put a bet on of the hard drive. You want the one explicitly shaped like an S instead of the flat cracker shape.

If you look at the picture I referenced below - you'll see the item with SATA connector. The other running out is IDE which will fit on to your hard drive.
Nope.

one is parallel, one is serial. They won't interconnect.
Buy the adapter and your set to move about.
