Video card for emachines?

I enjoy an emachines desktop that I bought in unpunctually 06 it's a Tsomething, don't remember the exact numbers. I am trying to find a good video card, I bought one a geforce 256mb but after individual a week it blew. what would be a good video card for this type of computer?

You would own to check if it uses PCI- Express x16 (most common), AGP (x2,4,8, older computers) or PCI- Express x1. If none of those are available, afterwards you could go to a PCI (not fundamentally good, restricted transfer rate). I would check on the network site to see the tech specs of your computer to see which one is available.
